There isn’t much to say about these newest additons, because I wasn’t there when they arrived so, it’s just pictures for now.

Hunter has named this one Maxwell, which, for Hunter, is a surprisingly good name. No more Bedtime Story, Triangle, or Princess Milkshake for us!

This one is Gilbert, with Mom Lisa in the background.

Again, Gilbert. Who knows where Hunter got the names.

Oh wow, they are SOOOO cute!!!! Great names Hunter! (although a fave of mine is Princess Milkshake!!!)
Thanks, Stacie. They are kind of cute. Please don’t encourage my kid…
Very cute. How many goats does this make now? I don’t remember Lisa, you must have more than I realized. Are you making any goats milk products yet?
This is four goats now. We’ve had Lisa for as long as we’ve had the other goat, Nutmeg. So far, we are not making any goat’s milk products, but I think that Jenn wants to try soap at some point.
Ah, you re-named them from what I remember, that’s why I’m confused.
awwe, so cute. I want to get some goats next year if I can find some up here…
Maybe we could bring you some. It’d be a good excuse to go back up there.
Lisa and Nutmeg came to us last summer and we kept their names. Curry and Brie, however, were our first two goats two summers ago now, I think, and they were just little. They were also the ones that were killed by one of our dogs. Maybe those are the ones you remember?
Well I thought I remembered one being named Whitey so I went back to the post from when you got them. At that time they seemed to be called Whitey and Sparkles, or maybe those were just nicknames Hunter gave them?
Do you think you will be coming down to the sheep herding trial in Woodville? I’ve been volunteered to help run the BBQ with my friend Shona who orgnizes the trial. It’s not her farm but she and her husband put the trial on there. I was at her farm the other day, dropping off our pony for her daughter to borrow and she’s got tons of sheep and lambs there now. That’s where all my border collies came from and where I took them back to get them started herding.
Now that you mention Whitey, I do sort of remember going through a stage with the kid where she called Lisa that. It didn’t last long, so I must have forgotten.
I don’t know about the herding trial. Jenn hasn’t said anything yet
